"That's just a polite way of saying I'm lost, isn't it?" A faint smile ghosted Neuvillette's lips. "Perhaps." Furina exhaled sharply, shaking her head. "I want to leave," she murmured. "Start fresh. Find a new home." She let out a humorless chuckle. "I have money, at least. Being an Archon paid well." Neuvillette did not disagree. "...But I don't know where to go," she admitted. "Or who I'm supposed to be." A quiet pause. Then- "You do not have to decide everything now." Furina turned slightly, looking up at him. "The people of Fontaine do not hate you," Neuvillette continued. "You may not see it yet, but you are still a part of this nation."

Neuvillette time travelling back in time to the year 2020 rekindles some kind of chemistry between the two as Neuvillette marries Furina to prevent her death and with their fake relationship they find their old connection in each other as they share hugs that they never got to before, kisses that felt overdue and maybe something more...

Furina, the vice president of the student council, harbors a secret crush on the student council president, Neuvillette, who is known for his aloof and serious demeanor. Furina was known for her energetic and lively personality, but few people knew about her secret crush on the student council president, Neuvillette. She tried to hide her feelings, but her friend noticed how she would gaze at him during meetings and how she would get more nervous when he was around. When the student council elections came up, her friend nominated her for the position of vice president knowing that it would give her more opportunities to interact with Neuvillette.
