In 2057, the homeless population in America skyrockets. A program is put in place where every year, 500 girls and 500 boys ages 14-17 will be selected to live in a facility with only $40 a week to live on and one partner to share the money with. While the families child is living in the facility, a homeless person will have a year to get back on their feet and get a stable job and a place to live. If they don't by the end of the year, they'll be killed. Neveah Greene is a popular girl who happens to have anorexia. Her rich and influential parents have her convinced she'll never get picked. But when she does, she'll have to take a chance on a guy who she bullied everyday at school, or face her death sentence.
