But Y//N is cursed with an intellect that notices everything-the dust on a dark oak drawer, the specific yellow of a sister's teeth, and the taste of the omelette served for breakfast. Today, it's an egg. Tomorrow, it's the chicken. As the patterns begin to bleed together, Y/N realises that while his presence in their lives is meaningless, the act of reaching out is the only thing that makes him real.
