This absence was erased by the multitude of gifts, cards, flowers and wizards that came where strangers. Maggie was standing behind the big of the crowd, just a body more in the sea of people that came to honour the Potter's memories. So many people talked, but not Maggie. She'd not been close to the Potter in school, and being friends with them now could've attracted the wrong type of attention on her.
