She's a good little girl- won every award, every teacher loves her, every grownup loves her, every parent says: " Why can't you be more like Samantha Carter? You get B's. She's met the president, and has already been accepted into three Ivy League colleges, but won't skip that many grades because she doesn't want to miss her family!"
What a big fat lie. Her mom only cares about her because she gets money for every award she gets, and her popular little brother, Luke, has cancer. Her mom just thinks it's too much money to drive to the colleges.
She's a genius, but she gets bullied all the time. She has no friends that aren't at least ten years older than her.
So one day, when bullying gets so bad that she falls down a hill and loses her memory, does she actually want to be the person she was? Or is there some other way to shatter the glass and be herself and live for once, instead of reading textbooks and memorizing codes?
