After the fall of the Isle's barrier, Queen Mal works to unify Auradon and the VKs. But a mysterious magical disturbance awakens an ancient force buried deep beneath the Isle of the Lost something older than Maleficent, something even the villains feared. When a strange storm begins spreading across Auradon, Mal must confront a rising darkness, one that threatens to undo the fragile peace and drag her back into the role of villain.
