Welcome to Auradon. This is a place where anything is possible. Including changing sides. But this time, its very different from the rest. Some are not what they seem. Plans can fail. Some aren't as powerful as people think. But then again, some are worse.

After the fall of the Isle's barrier, Queen Mal works to unify Auradon and the VKs. But a mysterious magical disturbance awakens an ancient force buried deep beneath the Isle of the Lost something older than Maleficent, something even the villains feared. When a strange storm begins spreading across Auradon, Mal must confront a rising darkness, one that threatens to undo the fragile peace and drag her back into the role of villain. Mal's reign will be tested by politics, by betrayal, and by a girl from the Isle who may hold the key to stopping the storm... or unleashing it completely.
