This story starts during spider-man homecoming, before endgame and stuff when Tony Stark dies. Just a heads up. This story basically is if Peter Parker had took the opportunity to join the avengers, and so on. I'm not going to spoil the story but that's the background it.

She follows the U.S. Agent to the middle of nowhere, Utah, where she soon finds herself trapped a mile under a mountain, with people who don't necessarily love her, and a man who claims to know her. Problem is, she doesn't know him.

All she had wanted to do, was to come in here, tell the Avengers that there is another player in the field, and leave. That's it. She didn't want to get tangled in whatever this 'SHIELD' was. It sounded like an acronym and not an actual shield. Must be an organization of super-secret and highly trained spies and agents. Or something.

The Avengers need to assemble to stop him, but with his rotten luck, Percy gets stuck in the middle. It's time to save the world... again. Percabeth (of course). Lots of plot, action, humor, family, and characterization.

I take a deep breath as I press myself up against the wall. The alarms that I accidentally set off are blaring and shooting red beams of light that cut through the dark night. ...So much for a stealth mission... I think. I'm right next to the entrance of the one of Tony Stark's Warehouses in New York, which was completely filled with semi-old tech from Stark Industries. It wasn't one of the ones near the new Avengers Facility, so I knew it would be empty except for the dozen or so S.H.I.E.L.D Agents that were left to guard the warehouse - It wasn't completely abandoned, but it was something I could handle.

Emmeline was a woman perpetually on edge, disjointed and wary of everything and everyone. The world was a jagged puzzle she couldn't solve. But Alexei? He was the anomaly in the data. In a universe that oscillated between deafening noise and soul-crushing boredom, Alexei was a constant, high-definition frequency. He wasn't loud in the annoying way; he was loud in the tectonic plates shifting way. He wasn't boring; he was a walking, talking explosion of personality and confidence with a side of questionable life choices. And as Emmeline stood there, vibrating with the anxiety of a startled cat, she realised the most confusing thing of all: amidst the static of her life, the former super-soldier felt like the only calm thing in the room.
