When a disgruntled and disgraced Pokemon Trainer uncovers a new technology, it casts a dark shadow over the Johto region. What was meant to be used to bring Trainers and their Pokemon closer together has now torn the region apart. Follow Kai and his trusty Growlithe as they are sent on a 'quick' errand by Professor Elm, only to find themselves battling their way through the broken region, meeting new Pokemon, Trainers and thug-like Gym Leaders along the way.
