Students from this academy are called "ultimates" because of this second reason. And standing there at the gate of the ultimate school filled with the ultimate students... Was Shuichi Saihara, the ultimate detective. And the protagonist of this story. He meets in there a student from the reserve course student introducing himslef as the ultimate supreme leader. Time flows by and the two boys get closer, so much that, when Shuichi confesses to the little by he's been having trouble at his work... things suddenly change...
