This poem is written in the Jamaican dialect and language called Patois, also known as Patwa. It is a follow up to my poem called 'Farrin Tings,' which describes the lust those from smaller countries have for bigger countries despite the wonderful culture they would be leaving behind. This poem is about taking accountability for being here, for the choices made. And not to look for anyone to give you what you feel is lost within you, but to create it. It is about creating your kingdom and like Christ says in the book of Revelation "I am making all things new."

The world has ended. Not in a "the planet exploded" kind of way, Human Kind is slowly dying. A "superior" species has risen up and dominated the planet. Only few people truly know of what is happening. They are called the Beltruins, a secret society of people with... abilities... each unique to themselves and each with the same mission, to find their leader and stop the Superiors from winning... Trouble is the person they are looking for doesnt know aboout their destiny. 17 year old Scarlett Felldow is depressed. She is an abused, troublemaking teen who just wants to die... but she can't. and she has tried, but no matter how hard she tries and how hurt she is, something keeps pulling her back from the brink. And it pisses her off. So she takes solice in her music. A budding Violinist like herself with family issues and no sense of control when it comes to little annoying things... she believes she is just an insignificant piece in destinys puzzle. but lately strange things have been happening. She has been feeling a slight connection to thins other than her Violin... Join Scarlett and the Beltruins in Human Kinds last fight for survival...

This is a story that I started writing based of the things that happened in my life in the past, it just wasn't in this particular order. I hope you enjoy because it took forever and hopefully I can get this published some where, feel free to ask questions and give suggestions on the Q&A "chapter" of this story.

Aurora's life was never the easy. Her mom was neglectful and a drunk, she married another drunk named Allen who was creepy and weird. If things couldn't get any worse her mom dies when she's 6 from overdose and now is in the hands of her stepfather. If he's not drunk and delirious he's drunk, delirious, and beats Aurora. Back then she was small and powerless, she cried and cried and cried. One day her father had beat her so hard with a broken alcohol bottle he left a nasty diagonal scar on her back. She ran out of the house and came across and fight dojo. When she entered the boys tried to kick her out but she insisted else needed to fight. From then on she refused to be weak, she taught herself how to fight, how to dodge, how to use knives, everything. She got a job and started to work. Life at home was still hell but she would manage and stay strong, at least until she 18. But one fateful day, her father dies. Aurora thinks she's going to foster care but instead a foster care worker tells her she has a biological family. She tells her she's a Villaruso. She also has 5 brooding brothers. Great. Will Aurora learn to trust and let down her walls, and will her family tell her that they run the Italian mafia. After all she's the dawn of the Italian mafia.

This a TMNT 2012 story about one of my OCs. It's one of the most momentous days in his life, written from his perspective. I hope you enjoy it!!!
