Matty Dove had 18 months to try and find a buyer for her late grandmother's lighthouse. A buyer who, she hoped, would not only buy the lighthouse, but love the village so much that they would invest time and money into saving the community. In 18 months, the Newfoundland government was shutting down Tuckamore Bay and all the residents were to be relocated to different parts of the province. With the uniqueness of Tuckamore Bay and its history and secrets, Matty felt comfortable that she could find a buyer. After several failures, a man by the name of Bill Williams did buy the lighthouse. Now all Matty had to do was convince the handsome young man to invest in the community and perhaps in her as well.

this book is about my favorites parts of the musical Come from away and Cut from away. disclaimer I haven't seen the musical yet so this is going to be from what I heard so far about the musical and also some short story as well . I might tell my story on 9/11. please no hate I'm going off about what I know so far but when I see the musical I will also put a chapter in this book about my experience when I see the musical.
