Back during the war with Homeworld, the Crystal Gems had a enemy, beyond the general threat of the diamonds. Homeworld had one gem that was way out of control; Beyond the Diamond's oversight even. This gem was Iolite, a prototype for a new war gem; however, she was imprisoned on earth for her excessively brutal fighting style and disregard of orders. But now, she's back with one directive. An idea for a story arc of Steven Universe I had that I'm gonna write because why not? Our story begins with two gems. Onyx and Emerald emerging from the Kindergarten used by Jasper about a month back. After Emerald begins to become corrupted during a fight with a corrupted gem, Onyx misinterprets this as somthing akin to a disease. That's where our story begins...
