Ubaidumb
Baid is nineteen-antisocial by habit, average by appearance, and quietly above average where it actually counts. University brings new routines, old friends, parties he doesn't want to attend, and feelings he isn't ready to name.
Life moves forward in small, familiar ways: late mornings, loud laughter, harmless crushes, excuses that almost feel comforting.
But in the background, something else is happening.
People are getting hurt. Rumors pass like jokes. Nobody looks too closely, and nobody asks the right questions. The days keep going, pretending nothing is wrong.
This is a story about ordinary life, friendship, romance, and the thin line between what we notice-and what we choose not to.
