This year has been rough on everyone....I am no exception. While dealing with artistic endeavours and isolation troubling thoughts can sneak in. This is a small collection of poems that came from a challenge. I hope these breadcrumbs lead you to your own shed.

This story is about sisters Kate and Kira Sanchez, They became orphans when their parents left them for their new families, Kate is a 4th year High school student at a private school in Washington DC while Kira is a 3rd year college student at New York University studying Microbiology. They are one of those who have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Can they survive?

Hearing the news in CNN Philippines made Mrs. Guzman trembled her feet. She was scared and worried about this big news that happens at the new beginning of the year 2020. The news was about novel coronavirus, a new strain of this disease infects human health. The country is in a total lockdown to avoid this spreading of viruses. A lot of changes happen in just two months. Schools suspended, establishments are closed, and some people lose their means of living. Are we going to survive or live if this keeps on extends without any medication yet? How are we going to cope up in this kind of situation?

Peace was maintained as long as this group protected the world from the silence of the shadows. But during a final mission to eliminate the last remaining cult clan, the entire team vanished without a trace. Now, the government has been forced to select and move a new generation into training. A group of teenagers now finds themselves bound together in this lethal legacy. For them, every mission is a matter of life and death.

The story is set in a future where the world has been split between those who are literate and those who are not. The literate Lefts are intellectuals, constantly studying and on a search for information. The illiterate Rights are crafty, having to create and invent new ways to do things without formal education. Both the Left and Right flourish in these new times, but still struggle underneath the surface. Too prideful to admit it, generations pass with both sides feeling as though something is missing and refusing to believe it can be found in the other side. Though prejudice and discrimination has always ensued, the two sides have always been peaceful. However, something is shifting. The Left is in charge of the government of Carris, while the Right lives under laws they aren't able to read. Centuries of buildup is starting to boil and rebellion begins forming in the Right. Enter Evelyn Vaylora, a Right who longs to have the words necessary to convey all the thoughts she has in her head. Since she was little, she's been stealing books from the trash and the library, teaching herself how to read and write. Enter also Alexander Oglethorpe, crown prince to the throne. At a young age, his parents realized there was something wrong with him as he wasn't able to read properly, constantly confusing letters, having a difficult time spelling, and growing frustrated at tasks where writing was required. Through a series of events, the unlikely pair meet and realize that something must be done before the Rights attempt their overthrow of the government... and they just might be the ones to do it.
