The main characters in the story are Maddox, Milan, Eve, Xena, Quintyn, Valerie, and Roselynne. However, the story is in the perspective of Maddox. A 7-year-old boy who lost his 20-year-old sister when he was 5. He wanted to protect everyone else in his life before they end up like Veyenne. He experiences the normal life on planet earth before he heard about the news that Earth was coming to an end. Their whole family goes to the headquarters of CosmoLife, get on the ship, and travel to Kepler 22B.
