mediocre poetry by a mediocre poet (two)

The Poetry is about a girl who fells in love with a guy who never loved her.

your words ring like bullets begging to tear through my heart, and to make me bleed the sweet color of her cherry chapstick

This is where I'll be posting poems written from 2020 on until I finally decide to end it and start a new "book". I'll try to post them as I write them but who knows when that'll be.

There really is no rhyme or reason to this collection of poems I have written. I'm new to poetry and want to learn all I can in how to improve. Criticism and tips are always welcome!

ˑ༄ؘ ۪۪۫۫ ▹poems that ive been writing recently. ◃ ۪۪۫۫ ༄ؘ ˑ 》hope, longing, nostalgia, change, identity, death. 《 blood bled pure: nostalgia is the muse and dredging is the art i hold lost people like trinkets, and parade them in my heart. the past is the bullet, the future is the wound. i never leave the graveyard where we are are entombed. hope is the prognosis poetry is the cure i'll write these people out, until my blood bleeds pure.

Poems I have created over times of extreme emotions. Heart break, loss of family, loneliness, all of it. My most vulnerable self.

My first collection of poems, mostly about love and sleep-deprived thoughts, but I've really allowed myself to write exactly what I was feeling at the time, instead of holding myself back. I hope you all enjoy these poems as much as I enjoyed writing them.
