One-shots and drabbles based off of Disney's Newsies!

Your basic modern au Newsies fanfic. Everyone's in high school (besides Les and the adults duh) and things get,, dramatic. There's gonna be angsty stuff, but I'll put trigger warnings if they are in any way needed. (most of the angst is Race because I practically am Race so I end up dumping my vents on him, sorry)

Mostly Spralbert and Javid. I'll take requests, but keep in mind there are some characters that I'm not comfortable writing yet. Cover art is not mine!

In a magical fairy tale world, two well-meaning parents-to-be upset a witch, who proceeds to curse every child they ever have. They end up with a monstrously ugly daughter, a son scheduled to go into a deep sleep on his 15th birthday, and a baby who gets turned into a tadpole. The only way the older children can be cured is through true love, so they naturally think the same for their younger brother, but they don't know for sure. This is a Newsies fanfiction. I don't own Newsies or its characters. In case it wasn't clear I'm trying my hand at Beauty and the Beast, Sleeping Beauty, and Frog Prince stories.

Davey Jacobs, from afar you'd think his life was perfect. Perfect family, perfect job, perfect education everything just perfect...but when he gets involved with the wrong boy. Poor Davey must leave all that behind and travel from a quiet, little town in Atlanta to loud and crazy Manhattan, New York. Set in 1969, the newsies have all grown into young adults and are leading their own lives. As he is called back to Manhattan, Specs uncovers old memories and scars from his past. And as the turmoil of the year unfolds, it changes everything for the whole crew, forever.

Newsies Modern AU

They may be out of school, but the newsies still have a lot of learning to do. That is, learning to be the best adults - and parents - they can be, and just how many different types of families there can be, including the infinite bond they will always share with each other. Jack Kelly had a tough childhood. Honestly, he still does, even living with his amazing adopted mom and brother. After meeting the cute new kid, however, he wonders if things will start to go his way Racetrack Higgins lives with his amazing grandparents. His parents were far from the best and after being kicked out for being trans, he was glad to have his grandparents to be there for him. He's getting through high school fine, though the kid in his math class from another school certainly made it better. Mush Meyers has been in love with his best friend for 3 years. Of course he loves just being friends, but he can't help the feeling that ate at him everything they brushed shoulders. He can only hope that starting high school, and being on a larger campus can help him lose his feelings. He sure hoped they wouldn't get worse. Rated mature for themes of murder, suicide, and other heavy topics (oh golly). I like angst sorry. But no smut or anything like that just lots of angst. I'll also put trigger warnings in particularly heavy chapters tho

"Jack? I-I think I love you." I looked down at the floor of our dorm, fiddling with my hands. "Sorry, but I don't think I love you." Jack shrugged, looking straight at me with a straight face. I hated how he could be so nonchalant about things like this. "O-oh, okay." I slumped slightly, trying not to cry. "I know I love you." Jack grinned.

Some people believe in reincarnation, others don't. But past lives are real, as this group of teens in the 21st century will soon find out. For they are the reincarnates of people who lived a hundred years ago, in 1899. They keep having weird feelings of déjà vu; déjà vu that's increasing. As they struggle to navigate their lives as high schoolers, they search to find out who they were in the past, and what all of these things mean when it comes to their identity and who they are. None of these characters are mine. Rights go to Disney. The story idea and story alone are mine. Please, no homophobia, transphobia, slurs, profanities, hate, etc at all times.
