"Is anybody listening to the song that I sing? Does anyone even know who I am?" - Newsgirls aren't as common as the newsboys; so being one of the few girls in the Lodging House isn't the easiest job. It's safe to say that Kylie has been with them long enough to call them her brothers (they even tease her with the name Freckles as her "Newsie name" because they say that everybody needs one). When getting papers early one morning two new kids come in who happen to be named Davey and Les. The newsboys take them in as their own, much to Davey's protest since they're only selling to help out at home. But when he meets Kylie, he just may be convinced to stay a little easier than he would if it were Jack talking him into it. Selling papers in New York City is exhausting as it is and the pay is far from great. So when Joseph Pulitzer hikes up the cost just to sell the papers, all of the Newsies go into a frenzy of worry. That is- until Jack comes up with a spontaneous plan. To go on a strike. With the confidence of Jack, the smarts of Davey, the charm of Kylie and some help from a reporter named Katherine, will it all end right in the end? A story of two lovers - Jack Kelly and Davey Jacobs. Davey is new to their school and Pulitzer wants his help. Jack is determined to take down Pulitzer. I am really rubbish at writing a summary especially when I don't even have a story idea yet :)

It's 1901, and New York City is still reeling from President McKinley's assassination. Enter Gabrielle Despereaux, a French immigrant who has to find money to provide her pregnant sister with- or else. Desperate and alone, she stumbles into the Newsboys' Lodging House and discovers not only a way to get her money, but true love and what it really means.

Davey Jacobs was the new kid. And boy, did he hate being the new kid. His whole life, Davey had gone to private school but now, since his father hurt his leg at work, he had to go to a public school. A public school, where he would have no friends. That is, until he meets Jack Kelly and his group of friends, dubbed the 'Newsies' due to their work selling the school newspaper and working on the school news team. Suddenly, Davey isn't so lonely anymore.

A story that takes place around the late 1930's and is a beautiful love triangle of Kai and Jeffory , two middle aged news boys, er...men. And a woman known as Katelyn who is wrapped up in her mother's wedding plans.
