The sequel to I Have Lost Faith in Humanity! Now... none of this will be canon to the Newscapepro SCPverse. And some things won't even be canon to SCP files. With the main oppressor dead, and a new thirst for vengeance, Cory continues what he began: ridding the anomalies of their capture and tortured lives. The only problem is- this is a tall order for a small group. But with how powerful his current allies are, they can only get stronger. Warning: This may end up darker than the final chapter of the previous story!

Cory had never been the person everyone seemed to think he was. He wasn't dense and incapable, he wasn't dumb and cowardly. It hurt him to hide all this, but the ways it might decide to come out could be even worse than the real him. But when Cory's past starts to follow him back to the Foundation, can he afford to keep his secrets any more?

After the Scarlet King incident and being taken by the GOC by force, Cory is soon rescued by the Serpents Hand and is now working with them along with his new friends.It's been 5 years now and Everything is looking fine for him, until the past comes back to haunt him. The Scarlet King starts to show up again and has new allies along him. Now with a new threat rising Cory and his friends must go through a journey full of hardships, drama, and a couple of reunions with old friends in order to stop the Scarlet King and his friends once and for all.. Will Cory be able to defeat this upcoming threat or let the darkness consume him....

Wanting to see her more, Cory begins to wake himself up in the middle of the night just for those midnight chats. After a mission to capture SCP-1529, the two begin to question their feelings towards one another.
