Despite sharing the same birthday, Kei and Yuma Tsukishima couldn't be more different. Kei is tall, sharp‑tongued, and emotionally reserved - a natural middle blocker with a presence that fills the court. Yuma, on the other hand, is tiny, even shorter than Hinata Shōyō, with a fragile body that's prone to illness and a personality so shy he can barely speak above a whisper.
After years of Kei quietly watching over his younger, delicate twin, the two transfer to Karasuno High School. Kei joins the volleyball team as a middle blocker, while Yuma becomes a team manager, determined to support his brother and the team from the sidelines.
Yuma's extreme shyness makes every interaction a challenge - he hides behind clipboards, jumps when spoken to, and turns bright red if anyone praises him. But his dedication is undeniable. He works hard, learns quickly, and slowly becomes a quiet but essential part of Karasuno's rhythm.
As the team grows, so does the bond between the twins. Kei learns to open up - just a little - while Yuma discovers courage he never knew he had. Together, they bring something new to Karasuno: a balance of strength and gentleness, height and smallness, confidence and vulnerability.
And maybe, just maybe, Yuma will find his voice among the crows.
