I swiftly caught him, kneeling over him and cradling his head, softly, brushing through his soft curls for the last time. I love you." his hand reached up, fingers barely brushing my cheek before his hand fell limp. I choked back a scream, gently brushing his eyelids closed. My lips curled up in a soft smile, studying his peaceful face. I raised my head to the sky, tears cutting angles on my face.
