Spot Conlon is the most fears and respected newsie, aptly named 'the King of Brooklyn' but what will he do when he's faced with a cute boy from France? Will the King of Brooklyn finally find a king to rule with him or will Spot push Pockets away? I own no characters other than Pockets and a few of the background characters! Og story from my second account (I'm publishing it here too because well.. I can't write the second chapter for some reason: There'll be some French since one character's first language is that so any actual French speakers please correct me if I mix something up! I'll try to fix it!

During the strike Crutchie meets a 12 year old girl named Grace Russo. The two became friends and once the strike was over Grace became a newsie known as Zippers, Zips, Zippy, really anything that starts with Zip. That was a year ago. Everything was going just fine for Zipper until she met Ruby Johnson. Zipper had never felt this way about a girl, or anyone, before and doesn't know how to deal with it.

In Direct response to @JaveyandDebuts I have formulated my own Newsies High School AU. Complete with toxic parents, cigarettes (American and British), autism, and a past incident at Medda's theater. Basically every character is struggling with something. Just... bear with me. Oh also it's told from multiple first-person points of view if you're into that kinda thing. Enjoy? I guess? I'll put more specific content warnings in chapters in which they appear but the general ones to worry about are smoking (thank you Race), emotional incest, parentification, abuse, and self harm... there might be more we'll see.

All right, so basically the Newsies go on a road trip, chaos ensues, et cetera, et cetera. I'm not sure where this is going, either. Might be interesting to find out. We don't know yet.
