Jack Kelly found her and took her in, treating her as his little sister. That's when she became a part of the newsie family. Granted, the guys did sometimes get on her nerves but they respected her just like they would anyone else. But when the price of the newspapers rise, it creates trouble for Josephine and the boys. It seems like things are becoming impossible, that winning the strike is impossible. When she meets a certain feared leader from Brooklyn, she starts to think that some things may not be impossible after all. . . . Summer break had started about a week ago so Les, Sarah and I were at home most of the day instead of being at the school house. I do not own any characters from either Wonder Woman or Newsies. All I own is the OCs and the plot that I have created. I also do not own the New York World and the other pictures on the cover art. Those all belong to their respective owners. The cover art was crafted by me and I think it is my best one yet!! I am going to put a PG/PG-13 warning for violence and maybe some harder topics to deal with. This is a story that takes place in World War I, so not everything is going to be super happy in this story all the time. This is the story of a supernaturally strong woman, a spy who doubles as a reporter, a war pilot who is also a spy, a young man who is just beginning his spy days, and a band of brothers who fight off the gruesomeness of the war. Romance ensues, battles are fought and the mystery to find the villain behind the war drives the characters toward their various missions. A woman who comes from an island with many like her is what spins everything into motion. From the streets of New York to the battle fields of Europe, this group struggles to overcome their differences and tries to win the war as a team. Will they do it?

This is a text version of the 1992 movie (minus most of the songs because it felt awkward to leave them in) but adapted to include the romantic storyline that my gay newsboys truly deserved. I will update kind of sporadically because I get random inspiration and will write, like six pages in a day, but then I lose all interest for weeks at a time. I take some artistic liberties, but try to stay fairly true to the scripting. Note: the chapters I post on here are not necessarily done being edited, so if you have any tips on things I should fix, feel free to comment and I'll put it into consideration! WARNING, TRIGGERS: Racism, Homophobia, slurs, overall bigotry, self-harm (later on), full to the brim with gay men (if the last one triggers you, then you're reading the wrong fanfic lol)

Spot and Race have been seeing each other since the end of the strike now in secret. It was their little secret, Nobody dared to question why Race was the only non-Brooklyn newsie who was allowed to sell in Brooklyn, why race would get caught in Brooklyn late at night because he was 'gambling' too long or it started to rain out and and he'd have to stay the night in the Brooklyn lodging house, why Race is the only person who could get Spot to show his soft side. Tiger has never dressed up as a newsboy before, but she seems to be pulling it off, that is until dinner at David's house.
