She ran into the Maze and never came back. Isla was one of the first. A Runner. A shadow between the walls. Then, one night, she vanished without a trace-no scream, no body, just silence. Most believed the Maze had taken her. Most forgot. But then the song began. A low, echoing melody, threading through the corridors in the dead of night. A voice that shouldn't exist. The Gladers whisper that she haunts the Maze, that her ghost is warning them of something lurking in the dark. Only Minho refuses to believe she's dead. Because if Isla is still out there, it means the Maze isn't finished with them yet. And if she's not... then something else is waiting in the dark, calling them deeper inside.

Y/n was sent into the maze at 3 in a half years old. The scientists thought that more serotonin and dopamine would help find a cure. It did not work. But along the way, she was adopted by Newt. Hello! First story, kinda nervous. It's just a y/n insert and it follows her age into a young girl. "Dr. Paige" we have a problem. "Subject B6 got placed into the wrong maze" Ava Paige glared at he doctor before her. "We can't go in after her, that would mess with the results of the trial. We will have to wait for her to go into the maze" she answered calmly. Y/n woke up in a strange medal cage with the sun shining bright over her. Once her eyes adjusted she saw a group of twenty boys staring down at her. Over the next few months Y/n made the best of her situation, even with no memories she became the light of the glade, even finding love along the way. That was until the maze doors opened for the first time. Y/n volunteered to run the maze as well as three other boys. During her run she got taken by the creatures that lurked through the maze. She woke up in a hospital bed with a boy standing next to her. Thanks to him she was able to make it out of the WICKED compound and she made her way into the scorch. There she met a girl her age, and an older man who took her under her wing. Y/n lived with them in the scorch for three years until one day a group of familiar faces stumbled through the doors.
