This is basically just what would've happened if they buried Newt after he died. I was so upset they left him to burn there in the city. So I made this in between sobs. ~newt is a shy 17 year old boy who faces bullying everyday. he loves to read and draw; them being the only things that bring him true happiness. he struggles with anxiety and has a hard home life, but that will all change when he meets a special someone. ~thomas is a 17 year old, but also the most popular guy at Glade High School, who every girl is constantly going on about. his life seems perfect, but no one really knows the struggles he goes through. he is the captain of the football team and has a heart of pure gold, but what happens when he doesn't want to be the most popular kid anymore because of this boy?

In the middle of the night, Newt shows up at the Safe Haven. Everyone accepts him with open hearts and arms- except for one person in particular. The one who believes deep in his heart that he could have saved Newt's life comes face to face with him yet again. But who brought him back and what were their intentions? (I wrote this because I did NOT like Thomas and Newt's ending. I just had to rewrite it so that they were together & Newt wasn't freaking dead. Lol, enjoy!)

~ newt is a shy boy who faces bullying everyday, and struggles with anxiety. he has only found happiness in his sister, reading, and a special someone he will meet along the way. newt has always liked being quiet, but what happens when someone new comes into his life? ~thomas is a normal kid at Glade High School who would consider himself outgoing. he enjoys drawing and skateboarding. he is only popular because of his best friend minho, and captain of the football team. thomas never really liked the attention, he just wanted to "fit in," but what if that changes when he meets someone a little bit shy.

Before Thomas arrived, Newt was alone and depressed in the Glade. But when the Box ascended, bearing a new Greenie, everything changed.

On the surface,Newton Isaac has everything-a rich family and his future planned out for him. Except it's not a future he wants. Newt is planned to marry a beautiful girl from another 'perfect' family. But Newt dos the want this,he wants the boy he knows from the happy thoughts and the dreams that play over and over inside of his head. He wants Thomas. He knows his family would never accept him for this,and that by telling Thomas he could loose everything. Telling someone you love them can go so many ways... Especially for someone like Newt. This story may include some rude remarks against same sex relationships. It is only for the story. I support same sex relationships but I think that it's important we reflect that sadly some people don't. There may also be some bad language (not too much) and a few sex scenes. This is a cute maze runner spin off fanfic this is still in the timeline but the time is extended and it is focused on Newt and Thomas's relationship and them getting together. And I may or may not have "forgotten" about Teresa.
