This is just a short little story because I was bored. It's about Newt Scamander and Tina Goldstein.

As she sat there, her husband's arm around her and their son pressed against her chest as he babbled happily, Tina couldn't help but feel deeply content: if every Mother's Day was like this one, then she certainly didn't mind observing the day at all. {NEWTINA}

Newt and Tina haven't seen eachother in half a year. Newt has finished his book, and is more than ready to see Tina again. They have been sending letters back and forth, but what happens when Tina gets hurt on an auror mission? This book will be based on events from Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find them. Tina is on an information hunting mission by Dumbledore, blending in as a spy to gather intel, yet things don't go according to plan, and she if left holding on for Newt to come find her. I am not a writer and this idea just came to me one night so figured I'd post it.

There is a time gap in COG between the events at the Père-Lachaise cemetery and the moment the party appeared at the Hogwarts bridge. I was triggered by a deleted scene of COG ('the croissant scene') where Newt and Tina were exchanging looks and acted like.... something had happened between them..... things we didn't see on screen, but definately gave their romance a little more certainty. This video inspired me to create this short story, which fills that particular gap. Is it possible the following events took place...? Please note: You should watch FBAWTFT and COG first before reading this short story.... Also this: I do not own the characters in this story, they and the whole wizarding world are JKR's.
