Tina is on an information hunting mission by Dumbledore, blending in as a spy to gather intel, yet things don't go according to plan, and she if left holding on for Newt to come find her. I am not a writer and this idea just came to me one night so figured I'd post it.

After their adventures in Paris, will their lives ever go back to normal in a world without humanity where love doesn't have a place to thrive? How will their relationship progress in the middle of a war? Soon they will learn to hide their feelings just to make sure not to get hurt over and over again... (This story takes place after 'The Crimes of Grindelwald')

There is a time gap in COG between the events at the Père-Lachaise cemetery and the moment the party appeared at the Hogwarts bridge. I was triggered by a deleted scene of COG ('the croissant scene') where Newt and Tina were exchanging looks and acted like.... something had happened between them..... things we didn't see on screen, but definately gave their romance a little more certainty. This video inspired me to create this short story, which fills that particular gap. Is it possible the following events took place...? Please note: You should watch FBAWTFT and COG first before reading this short story.... Also this: I do not own the characters in this story, they and the whole wizarding world are JKR's.
