Noah and Oliva are in year 10 (16 years old) of school. Noah is the most popular guy at his new school, but Olivia doesn't want anything to do with him. They meet in an ironic place and then again at school, but Olivia is not happy he is in her life. All that Noah wants to do is get Olivia's attention, but she won't stand for it. Olivia's best friend, Jenna, wants to help Noah get her attention but it doesn't work out in the beginning.

This poem is written in the Jamaican dialect and language called Patois, also known as Patwa. It is a follow up to my poem called 'Farrin Tings,' which describes the lust those from smaller countries have for bigger countries despite the wonderful culture they would be leaving behind. This poem is about taking accountability for being here, for the choices made. And not to look for anyone to give you what you feel is lost within you, but to create it. It is about creating your kingdom and like Christ says in the book of Revelation "I am making all things new."

Poetry collection from my ongoing university days.

The Paylets , 16 year old, Chloe, 8 year old, Kallie, and their mom, Laura, have had a rough couple of years. First, their dad left them 2 years ago, for a new job. Then, a year ago, their mom lost her job. And now their small, heartbroken, family is forced to move 2,408.5 miles to New York City, for their mom's new job. Although, this sounds thrilling for Kallie, it's very unfortunate for Chloe because homecoming is near and she planned to go with her, very supportive, boyfriend. For Laura however, it will be an exciting roller coaster with many ups and downs.
