「Hey, did you know that nail polish removes glue? Or, it's supposed to, anyways.」 She said it with such a bitter taste in her mouth that she felt the need to spit the words out. 「Then, where does that leave us?」 -- She's a doctor who has lost all her memories, arriving inside the center of a maze with nothing besides a bag of home medical items, the clothes on her back, her extensive knowledge of medical practices, and one sentence repeating, over and over in her head: SAVE THE CONTROL. Ada has no idea who she really is; she was allowed to keep a name, but to her what really matters is everything behind the name, everything that makes a name into a person. When she is ejected into the Glade she is faced with the monumental task of discovering what kind of person she is, as well as adapting to her new home, companions, and the possibility of escape through the Maze.
