Before the maze, Newt leads a different life, a happier one. His dad was his best friend and he spent most days with his girlfriend (Y/n) who he'd do anything. When Wicked started hunting them things got more complicated than the threat of getting the flare. They were leaving to get to the right arm when Wicked closed in on them taking Newt away as he sacrificed himself. (Y/n) only lived and fought for Newt's sake, and she feared she'd never see him again. Three years after he was taken, he was back but had no idea who she was or what they'd been through together.

Y/N wakes up in the box with no memory of her past self. All she can remember is her name. She is completely lost until a certain blonde haired boy catches her eye. [COMPLETED] While Thomas and Teresa were made to share one another's thoughts, Y/N and Newt were made to share one another's pain. They were just one of WICKED's many awful experiments in hopes of finding a cure. When they were younger and under constant surveillance by WICKED, the experiment was mostly harmless. Small cuts and bruises which could be felt by the other person weren't an issue. It was when WICKED chose to begin putting people in the maze, putting their lives at stake, causing them to endure more than just physical pain was when things became dangerous. All characters, world/setting and other parts of story related to The Maze Runner belong to James Dashner.

Once upon a time, the Sun's solar flares light up the sky like the 4th of July. This caused the Earth to overheat, thus killing millions of people. Soon, it was discovered that a side effect of the solar flares (other than the millions dead) was a virus that took over a person's body, making them go crazy. This is called the Flare. A corporation, WICKED, put together an experiment of sorts to find a cure for the Flare. Using dozens of children, they made the Maze. Month after month, a new person is added to their Maze, adding variables to their sick little experiment. They had to start somewhere, someone had to spend an entire month in the Maze before someone else came up, right? Well, that person is (Y/N). She is the leader of the Gladers with Newt by her side. Little does she know that he has a tiny (or huge) crush on her. She is the only girl in the Glade, and that makes her the Alpha Female in a den full of boys. All rights go to James Dashner for creating the best shuckin' book EVER. All the characters are held by James Dashner with the exception of you of course. This'll be a horrendous journey of me trying to become a better writer so bear with me.

She was so scared when she woke up in the box. She didn't remember a thing. She wanted to get out, but she couldn't. She couldn't even try. Or could she? It was all blurred, nothing made sense anymore. Who were those people? Why was she the only girl? Why can't she remember anything? Y/n got to know the glade, and after a few arguments she eventually made friends with the gladers. But what she really wanted was to be a runner. Will she get the support from her friends? What greeted you was a stomach-churning site. A Glader had seemingly jumped from the walls, and was writhing in pain, blood pooling atop the dirt patch of the maze entrance. It was Newt. You, Jeff, and Clint nursed him back to health, but you had been the one to truly be there day and night, even going as far as sleeping in the chair most nights beside him. It terrified you, to lose not only Second in Command, but your friend, your then best friend. It would then be days before he woke up, and the screams were horrifying, to say the least. Newt was in pain, and there was nothing to subside it. Not only did you have to nurse him following his wake, but further take the blunt of his grabbing at you, his seething anger towards you for saving him. It started out like any other day.That's just coming home from school, heating up leftovers, and watching The Maze Runner.It's the perfect routine, and it was the perfect thing to do on this ordinary, stormy day.Then lightning strikes and everything goes out except the movie.In the blink of an eye she's up in that box to her favorite world.Is there a way to change their fate and maybe have time to fall in love on the way?

My first story ever. (This story takes place in the scorch trials, expect the place where they're taken is in the city and not in the desert. The description might sound similar to the movie and u might find more similarities but the difference is that there's love and drama involved between friends and old lovers) (Backstory) Y/n, Thomas, Chuck, Minho and Newt had made it out the maze alive after spending the last 3 years locked up in a glade or at least that's what they thought, when they reached the outside head center of the maze they were in complete shock of what they found. Dead bodies everywhere and a video tape left for them, the video tape showed WCKD going extinct. Or at least that's what they thought. Shortly after the tape finished black dressed men walked into the room and everything went black for everyone. They were moved to a place in the city and locked in with lots of other people in this building. Other people from other mazes. The people in charge of the building claim to have " saved them ". Can they trust them?.. (Relationship issues) Newt and y/n had been in a relationship before escaping the maze but let's just say there were some difficulties that ended with a break up. They've been avoiding each other inside of the glade for about 2 months so how will things end between them now that they have been moved to a building and has to share the same dorm and practically hang out with each other 24/7. Since the break up y/n has been hanging out with Thomas a lot more than usual and some people might even claim that there's something between them. Will Newt and y/n get back together or will they simply just move on? Stay to get to be apart of this story that includes mental illness, relationship issues, friends and lots of adventures. WARNING!
