Newt adored Tina. He did it with every fiber of his being. Since he had known her, since he had fallen in love with her, he had become a much happier man. He smiled spontaneously while taking care of his creatures and remembered the moments alone with her. _______________________________ One shot

Newt had been through quite a lot before New York, but he had never said anything bad about his travels; nothing past meeting his creatures, actually. Travels as wide and grand as the one he took must certainly have more than just that to its story, and Tina had always wondered about what he had yet to share with her about it, but never touched on it out of respect for his boundaries. But one day, she accidentally gets a glance at the aftermath of his travels during one of his rounds with an ill grindylow he had rescued. Maybe she'd get a bit more to his story out of this...

And she was never a girl to adapt to clichés, either. But when a familiar turquoise coat and messy brown hair caught her eye, she couldn't hold on to her regret any longer.
