Newvegas Stories

I went back and reread the original story that I put up in Feb. towards the very end it was apparent that I had half-assed the end, and cheated everyone out of the ending that they deserved. I went back, setting out to give a better ending, and ended up adding a whole new section of the story. Hopefully this one has a better ending. I left the original up for any of you wanting to compare it to this. Let me know by leaving your thoughts in the comments. Or don't. You have free will. By all means, use it.

This is the story of Ranger Barker, a high ranking NCR ranger. Heavy is the head that wears the crown, however. Barker has a bounty on him from Caesar himself. I hope you enjoy this, please give me feedback, I'd like to improve my writing, as I have minimal experience. Thank you

Dawn Crenshaw, now in her forties, is still living in New Vegas and has retired from combat. She lives a life of loneliness and depression with Maddie imprisoned in an asylum. Dawn meets a shadowy young man, Damon, and teaches him wasteland survival. When Dawn kills a member of a powerful gang know as the Outcasts, she along with Damon, become hunted across the Mojave Desert as they make their way towards Junktown.

This very short excerpt follows the man in the Checkered Suit, Benny, moments before he makes one of the largest decisions that impacts his goals to take over the Strip and New Vegas as a whole. (Novelisation of intro to FNV, I write these novelisations of scenes from games or shows as a way to challenge my writing skills and practice using other types of characters, setting, and tone. An on-going fanfiction I've had going for a short while that I plan on continuing over time. It follows the journey of two twin couriers and their fight to find one another across the vast wastelands of the Mojave.

Jackson brown was a mailman after the end of the world in the year 2217. The whole USA was nuked. Jackson survived in vault 78. One night he was heading to prim. That took a turn. Someone tried to kill him. Now he DOSENT know what to do. He woke up,in a weird town lost and alone for 2 seconds.

This tells the tales of many through the Mojave and they're struggles and how they come together.

It's been nearly one hundred fifty years since Caesar's Legion won the Second Battle of Hoover Dam and pushed the NCR out of the Mojave. However, neither side has been able to completely destroy the other causing a tug-a-war that nearly lasted one hundred years until a young Caesaris Victoria of the Legion and former NCR President signed a peace treaty good for fifty years. Fifty years pass and tensions are running high between the two nations as both nations ready for war. Lucas Martineo, a veteran gunslinger from the Pitt Empire in the Eastern Common Wealth is sent to train Caesaris' legionaries and must make a choice to fight for the Legion, or the NCR
