Do you like the rain or shine? I like the rain now, better than the sunshine. Or should I say I sympathize with the rain more. Ask me the same question three months ago, the answer was the early bright sun. The sun makes me sadder now, the soccer fields dry and ready to play on because of it. Kids go out on recess, couples and families picnic. Everyone benefits from the sun, when it is out I should not have a reason to feel this way. I should be in sync with everyone else, wanting to go on walks or plant flowers. Everyone is happy in the sun. But the rain. The mood becomes gloomy, and for that minute when the clouds swallow the sky. I can be brighter than the outside. I can seem a little happier, or at least normal compared to others. When it rains I don't need to be as happy as the damn sun. I can just be me, I don't have to plaster on that fake smile and say I am doing better. When it rains I seem a little less sad. Do you like the rain or the sun? If you asked me three months ago my answer would not only be different but it would be ordinary.
