It happened purely by chance. During a speech by Ghetsis, one of the Seven Sages of Team Plasma, in Accumula Town, Leslie meets a young man named N, who expresses his desire for humans and Pokémon to be separated because of the cruelty of Pokémon battles. She saw something in him that made her wonder if he had a point, but she wouldn't see him again for a long time. I only take credit for some of the plot and my original characters.

A short fic about N comforting you as someone unexpectedly unearths some trauma from your past. N is just incredible and I know he's a comfort character for many people (myself included!) so I thought I'd try to put that concept into a cute short story. Mix of angst and a whole lot of fluff. I hope you enjoy! **Content warning - this story contains references to past trauma (not in great detail) and also describes the experience of having an anxiety attack/PTSD flashbacks, so please don't read if that's going to be triggering for you!**

With my Eevee on my side, I felt ready for anything until I met him while saving her. He saved her for me and seemed happy that Eevee was cuddling with me. I was confused and he just smiled and explained a new and strange thing. I was happy to hear and just returned for my friends. We traveled around Kalos and I smiled as we did what we wanted. Encountering him a few times and experiencing problems along the way made me feel closer to him and my Pokémon. I have started to wonder if he feels the same. You do know that 'him' is taking part in the gym challenge. So your best bet is to go to the gyms and hope for the best. You have three starters who were assigned to you to complete your purpose. Tepig, Oshawott and Snivy. Unfortunately you can't speak pokemon so they can't tell you more about 'him'. But you do meet someone who can. King N of team plasma.
