You do know that 'him' is taking part in the gym challenge. So your best bet is to go to the gyms and hope for the best. You have three starters who were assigned to you to complete your purpose. Tepig, Oshawott and Snivy. Unfortunately you can't speak pokemon so they can't tell you more about 'him'. But you do meet someone who can. King N of team plasma. The concept of N in a western au hit me so hard I was incapable of being normal until I wrote it down. Then I decided to make it x reader just cuz. The reader is a renowned sheriff and N is a wanted outlaw, and once N gets caught, all sorts of drama and chaos ensues. Also Ingo and Emmet show up because I like them.
