Harry's POV My eyes peeled open and blinked rapidly as the white light blinded me. A black bracelet hung loosely around my wrist, it obscured a tattoo of an anchor. I stared at it cluelessly. Where was I? How did I get here? Confusion turned to panic as tubes and wires connected me to beeping machines. I couldn't remember a thing. The door opened and a young lady with dark hair and light eyes walked in and glanced at me, and attempted to leave but I stopped her. "Miss! Where am I? Who are you?" I called. "Hi, my name is Blare." she said. "You're in the hospital." I shook my head and scanned my eyes around the room. Was I dreaming? In a dream with this girl? But unfortunately I wasn't. "Not tonight, Dad, please" I begged pathetically. He made his way over to the bed I was situated comfortably on, almost tauntingly. "Of course not sweetie, I just came to bring you some water. You've been studying an awful while thought you were thirsty." He held a red plastic cup in his hand, holding it out towards me. I had been studying for a while now and I was awfully thirsty so I cautiously took a few sips from the rim. It tasted a bit slimy, almost chemically. I instantly recognized what it was as tears brimmed my waterline. Not today. Please no. I made a break towards the door only to be caught by my fathers rough, calloused hands around my waist. We both grunted as i tried to break free and he tightened his hold on me. I brought my elbow back into his ribs in one sharp move causing him to free me from his grasp. He stumbled back a bit but quickly regained balance and I was already flying down the stairs hearing my heart pounding against my ribs and my eyesight go blurry. The door leading outside would take too long to unlock so I went to the only other option, the bathroom. I slammed the door shut, quickly locking it. I was panting heavily and I had to grasp the countertop to stabilize myself as the effects kicked in and the pounding against the door only instigating my headache even more. Luckily, Dad was too drugged out of his mind to have the physical capacity to break the door down this time. Before I knew it an unfamiliar hand was wrapped around my waist and the second around my mouth. My eyes widened and I was wondering if I was imagining things but the deep raspy voice that followed said otherwise. "I guess we both have a story huh" was all I got before my body finally gave out against his sturdy one. *recurring themes will include drugs, abuse, r@pe and more to come.
