Just before Gatsby was shipped of to war, he'd met the pure beauty that was Rose Carraway, and no longer was his mind set for Daisy, it was Daisy's cousin instead. Rose Carraway completely took over Jay Gatsby's mind, the daring Daisy Faye, 5 years newly Buchanan now gone from any object of Gatsby's affection. But as the well known tale went in the original Gatsby, the two were split, and Rose Carraway felt an extreme loss, clamming herself up, never allowing herself to love again. Withering in the depths of her own garden, wilting away with every sob and gasp, drying herself up. Until her sun walked in - her brother, Nick Carraway, lifted her up and nursed her to health. But this time, Rose Carraway expresses promise, new beginnings, and hope. Her strongly built thorns defending her heart, building her strength, never letting a man handle her gruesomely. But unfortunately it made her cynical, the loss of love, the lack of parents. She became a little thoughtless, riddled with the inability to hold care for anyone but her brother. Will Jay Gatsby bring back the life he took from Rose Carraway? Or will Rose's stubbornness push him away?

It's a fanfiction of the great gatsby. This story takes places right before the main events of the story and shows how Gatsby obtains and has money. This is something I did for an English class :)

So far this is just the new prologue and epilogue but that's fine because that's the bulk of the additions. Literally it's just The Great Gatsby but Nick Carraway makes taxidermy from animals. Nick Carraway, the narrator in "The Great Gatsby" by F. Scott Fitzgerald is back to give us a short reflection on his summer on Long Island. This is a songfic using the monologue lyrics of the song "National Anthem" by Lana Del Rey. Nick Carraway still loves Jay Gatsby. And he always will.

It was 1928; just six years following the death of Jay Gatsby. A death that had left a deep scar on his friend, Nick Carraway to the point of him returning to his native Minesota. Yet, even with the reunion of his home state, Carraway had grown increasingly bitter with the world. Getting so bad that he would hardly speak with his friends and family. And when he would talk, it would not be pleasant. At this, Nick's father, Franklin, arranges a summer vacation in Florida for the 35 to relax and rethink matters. Yet when he along with his young cousin, Bernice, get lost on the way, they had managed to find Janie Crawford. Ushering in friendships, romance and a whole lot of trouble.

This is "The Great Gatsby" Chapter 10... narrated by Nick (and the author) who is now the new Gatsby. Although, he doesn't have the same taste of lasciviousness and Gatsby did. He lives a quiet and quaint life. None of the exciting and chaotic parties Gatsby hosted. But what happens when Nick goes to visit Gatsby and his grave is disturbed? Who would do that? What would their reason be? And how does Nick handle it?

Anyone who has been to one of Jay Gatsby's notorious parties has seen her. The angel. She stands in the back, tenderly sipping her drink. Nobody really knows who she is, their only clue is her first name, Linnet. Nick Carraway finds himself at another one of Gatsby's parties, his paths cross with Linnet and he sees that she has it bad for Gatsby himself. But he soon finds that she has a certain aura, one that Nick is getting drawn closer and closer into. Pretty soon he can't escape it. This book is based off of "The Great Gatsby" by F. Scott Fitzgerald. I do not own any of the characters, apart from Linnet, obviously. The plot is very obviously rewritten.

During the dinner party, she finds out that Tom is talking to his mistress on the phone named Myrtle and feels betrayed, sad, and heartbroken. She then takes Pamela to move in with her best friend, Jordan Baker in West Egg Town and decides to change and get therapy. A few weeks later, Daisy divorces Tom, moves on, gets a job working at the library in West Egg, goes to therapy to seek help, and is happy. She becomes a changed woman who is unapologetically herself, independent, compassionate, authentic, imperfectly perfect, accepts her flaws and imperfections, acknowledges and accepts the good, bad, and ugly things about herself, and is strong for herself and her daughter Pamela. She, Jordan, and Nick are invited to Gatsby's party. But what happens when Jay and Daisy meet face-to-face at the party? Will Daisy give Jay a second chance? Does she still love Gatsby? Find out.
