Courtney Jones is just your average teenager. She's the quiet and shy girl. But when she's alone, Courtney is a talented musician. The only person who knows about her talent is her best friend Nick Tangorra. Courtney lives in the shadows of her stepbrother, Luke Hemmings. After summer break, Nick and Courtney start their senior year of high school. Courtney's feelings towards her best friend change... But there's one problem he's already taken. A few weeks into the school year, 5SOS find out about their world tour. They're in desperate need of an opening act. So they ask Nick. At first, Courtney is cool with the idea and tags alongside her brother. But as the tour goes on, she feels like she should be opening for them. But then again, no one else knows about her talent. Will overcoming a long time fear get Courtney her Name in Lights.
