I am a citizen of Dema. I am an escapee. I have failed time and time again. I have never seen the world outside this city, but one day I hope to. One day I will. My friend Clancy is like me. He is a citizen of Dema. He is an escapee. He is an exception. He has seen the world outside these imposing walls. He tells me about these people he's seen. He hasn't been able to speak with them yet, but he gets closer with each escape. I'm going to ask him to take me the next time he goes. I want to see these people for myself. I want to know if we can survive outside of Dema. Because I want to live.

evie (pronounced EH-vie) is apart of the banditos, a clan lead by tyler joseph and josh dun. their arch nemesis, the bishops are always kidnapping tyler and other banditos and taking them back into the city of dema. evie is just in it to be safe from the bishops, but when she gets too involved, things take a turn and evie's life in trench will never be the same. intentional lowercase i do not own the world of trench nor any songs or other things that i reference. credit to twenty-øne piløts.

ryan's always been a good citizen. he follows the rules without question, attends all rituals and gatherings required, he's a model image citizen of DEMA...on the outside, that is. ryan's been having dreams recently that make him question if things are actually what they seem to be inside the city walls. there's something strange about these dreams- they seem more like lost memories of a past life. he constantly shoves the thoughts down though, tells himself it's better to just ignore and play it safe. but what happens when a new citizen comes along and ryan finds out he's not the only one with these strange dreams?

You were warned since you were young to be careful at night and beware a mysterious force named Nico. What happens when one night you forget this warning? Note: this is a joke. My friends and I got bored at 1 AM and created this disaster. Enjoy!

Every ten years a handful of randomly selected teens are sent to Trench. Trench is controlled by Dema Council and Dema Council is controlled by Nicholas Bourbaki. Nicholas has a bit of OCD, everything must be according to number. Tyler was one of the randomly selected, which are actually considered the chosen ones to be sent to Trench. At the beginning he thinks he knows everything but he soon finds out that things are hidden in between the 1's and 0's. This is where Josh comes in. The Josh Tyler thought was just another number. The first thing I remember is the moment when I realized everything was a lie. The moment when everything crushed in front of me. The moment when the world became black for me.

There's a world where no one is unhappy. Life is good, life is silence. Life is inside the walls of Dema. At least, that's what the Bishops say. Everyone is obedient here. No questions are asked, no sideways glances are given to the person beside you as if to ask (Do you think this is strange to?.) You go to work or school depending on age, complete your duties, go home, sleep, and repeat. Its always felt wrong to me, us the workers living in small homes barely making enough to get by, while the Nine live in a large elegant tower at the end of the trench just watching... DEMA controls us, DEMA controls all of us. I Tyler will NOT be controlled.
