Percy is broken when he finds out that Annabeth has been cheating on him. He goes to the Underworld to grieve. Hades finds him, but shockingly, he doesn't imprison Percy. He just takes him to Nico's room, where Nico is curled up into a ball on his bed. "He's darker than usual. He skips meals, doesn't sleep, sneaks out at night..." Three months. It's been three months since the Giant War; only before a new threat is on the line.
