Maine Mendoza has been a fan of Alden Richards for a long time now. She considers him a Prince Charming despite being a fairy tale non-believer. Hinde rin siya mahilig sa boyfriend-girlfriend stuffs, in fact, she describes being in a relationship as tacky. May dating lang talaga si Alden para sa kanya. Gwapo at talented. Maka-Diyos at mapagkawang-gawa. Mabait at eternally single hanggang walang resibo ng kasal. She considers him ideal for her. But how will she react when she finds out that her ideal guy is not so ideal after all?

This story follows the life of Princess Maiena, the second and youngest child of King Thaddeus-- the strong, wise, and uncompromisingly orthodox ruler of Reidonia which is a kingdom set in the modern age with customs, laws and traditions that seem to have been stuck in the 14th century. His only weakness is his only daughter. The Princess Maiena, the spare heir of the king, is a woman of exceptional beauty and charm known across the world.
