A non-fictional romantic story about a hopeless romantic who fell in love with a tomboy. Characters: Nicomaine nicknamed Maine - the carefree daughter, sister & the appreciative gf Nico - the other side of Nicomaine; the misguided tomboy Richard - the affectionate son, brother, friend & the hopeless romantic Micky - the heart-breaker

This story follows the life of Princess Maiena, the second and youngest child of King Thaddeus-- the strong, wise, and uncompromisingly orthodox ruler of Reidonia which is a kingdom set in the modern age with customs, laws and traditions that seem to have been stuck in the 14th century. His only weakness is his only daughter. The Princess Maiena, the spare heir of the king, is a woman of exceptional beauty and charm known across the world. She is too brave, too smart, too determined and too free-spirited for her own good. She struggles to live with the stringent rules and expectations required of a member of the royal family. Maine Mendoza has been a fan of Alden Richards for a long time now. She considers him a Prince Charming despite being a fairy tale non-believer. Hinde rin siya mahilig sa boyfriend-girlfriend stuffs, in fact, she describes being in a relationship as tacky. May dating lang talaga si Alden para sa kanya. Gwapo at talented. Maka-Diyos at mapagkawang-gawa. Mabait at eternally single hanggang walang resibo ng kasal. She considers him ideal for her.
