High school AU (so creative, I know). Nico just started his freshman year in Yancy Academy and already the bullies are targeting him. Just his luck. On top of that, he's dealing with the loss of his whole family and lives alone with his only known living relative, his cousin, Charlotte who takes care of him. He's suffering from depression, but fortunately Charlotte's been helping with that. Generally his life is dull until he meets Percy Jackson, captain of the swimming team and friendliest face in school. All characters belong to Rick Riordan.

Everyone loves Percy. He is the star demigod of Camp Half-Blood. Nobody really knows Nico. He just sits and watches everyone train. He's weak, he's scrawny, and he has an eating disorder. But no one knows cause no one notices. Nico is slowly dying and he needs someone to dust him off enough to see beyond the darkness of Hades. After the war, everything went sort of back to normal for Demigods. And for some Demigods it was easy, others it wasn't. After a huge fight that broke up Percy and Annabeth, Percy turned to Nico, and things got more heated than he expected.

Nico di Angelo, son of Hades, has looked death straight in the eyes with complete confidence, not wavering a bit. But when it comes to a certain son of the sea god, Nico can't seem to hold himself together. The 7 and Nico have just defeated Gaea and are on there way back to camp half-blood. After the Giant War, camp settles down once again and life goes back to normal. Even without his sister, Nico decided to stay with the others at Camp Half-Blood and decides that it's time to confront his problems. Or problem, really. His crush on Percy.
