Nico and his family escaped to the vault on top of the hill, everything in pandemonium, and were forced into chambers in rooms, where they were cryogenically frozen. Centuries later, Nico's chamber opened. Everything he knew was long gone. He was the only survivor of the Vault 111 experiment. - - - - - Percy Jackson was an inhabitant of Vault 101. He was a respected member of the Vault and was very happy. He loved his best friends and his mother, and he had many privileges. However, he had one disadvantage: he had never been outside before. Camp never thought that having such strong loyal bonds could do this.

High school AU (so creative, I know). Nico just started his freshman year in Yancy Academy and already the bullies are targeting him. Just his luck. On top of that, he's dealing with the loss of his whole family and lives alone with his only known living relative, his cousin, Charlotte who takes care of him. He's suffering from depression, but fortunately Charlotte's been helping with that. Generally his life is dull until he meets Percy Jackson, captain of the swimming team and friendliest face in school. All characters belong to Rick Riordan.

Don't expect some sort of lovey-dovey shit out of this. This is a story of pain, suffering, and a lot of monster ass-kicking. Remember this, this story may save your life. ((((COMPLETED)))) Percy Jackson is depressed and has succumbed to self destructive ways to release his frustration. Nobody notices a thing until Nico gets wind of his former crush drifting farther and farther away. Percy suddenly has new feelings for someone new, and he gets rejected by someone, but not who he thinks. He gets a quest and has to pick one other person from camp to go with him to rescue a friend. Percy gets cursed along the way and has to make it back to Camp to save a life. This story is about Percy self harming, and Nico helping him, there are mentions of dizziness, the feeling of starving, graphic self harm/injuries, blood, graphic thoughts of a person with depression, and probably something like psychological horror. If any of that makes you uncomfortable, don't read!!! I don't think I'm going to get any backlash for anything but if you comment, I'm probably not going to answer you! To the people who leave nice comments, I do read all of them and it is appreciated! this is my first published work, I just wanted to add something to this cool community and maybe live a little vicariously through the characters.
