Folake is the secretary and unofficial personal assistant of one of the most influential men in Nigeria. He is the Head of Vee Cargo; almost nothing gets in or out of the country without them. The money is good but she is the quiet type, barely speaking to anyone and keeping to herself. Her boss, Victor, is used to it but when his sister shows up in Nigeria after years abroad, she wonders if Folake has always been like this and why. If she wants the light-skinned woman on her side to take over the family company, she's going to have to gain her trust and that means getting the soft-spoken secretary to speak.
