It's one of those somethings that have just been a little obvious since day one: that Jude belonged to Juno and Juno belonged to Jude. It didn't matter that the people around them constantly acted like pawns vying for either one of their attentions. Or that Jude's ideal way of showing he felt so strongly about Juno was not one she agreed with. It didn't even matter that where Jude was all chatty, outgoing and problematic to a fault, Juno was more reserved, timid and respectful. And it certainly didn't matter that since they met on their first day in junior school, they've been some sort of academic rivals, always fighting each other for first place or being forced to share it. No. It was just that something you glimpsed and then turned back to view and saw clear as day: that the Head Prefects, no matter how stubborn they were, how immature and childish and hurtful they were towards one another, there was just that for them. One another. ⋆˚꩜。 Hephzibah ⋆˚꩜。

My name is Aisha Aliyu . But in boarding school, I answered to "JSS1!". 🥲❤️‍🔥🥲 The day I arrived at Federal Government Girls' College, I was eleven years old with a metal cup my mom gave me, and a heart full of fear. By nightfall, Senior Blessing AKA Savage had confiscated my provisions, and House Mistress had taught me that "Yes, Senior" was the only prayer that worked. That metal cup became my witness. It held my Lipton with rain water kept on the sun in the mornings when the harmattan was brutal. It held garri with sugar or salt when hunger knocked at 2am. And on the nights I couldn't be strong, it held my tears. Because in Dorm 4, you learn to cry quietly. No evidence, abeg. JSS1 to SS3 is a journey nobody prepares you for. From scrubbing seniors' buckets to becoming the senior everyone feared. From homesick letters to sneaking out after lights out. They said boarding school would make me a woman. What they didn't say was that I'd have to break first. Shatter. Then gather the pieces myself. I'm still standing. My cup is dented, but it doesn't leak. This is my story. My bunk. My scars. If you've ever hidden tears in a metal cup, then you already know. Are you ready to walk the halls of Dorm 4, join me on this journey of survival and reclaim your own story ... Read ..❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥 Tears in My Metal Cup. The real boarding school story. Updates every Sunday by 8pm WAT and 9pm every monWAT

~Many things will come your way, frustrating and desperate until you give up. But you have to learn how to hold on. How to never let go.~ ~Anonymous. If you ever ask Marion Alabi what she hated about her life she would say pretty much everything. From having parents that didn't pay attention to her, to being poor, to being made a fool of and laughed at in school, brothers that didn't talk to her in school so she won't embarrass them, she hated her life. She wasn't pretty, was poor that her parents couldn't even afford a pair of school shoe for a term, attended a rich school that a person that didn't go home in a car was considered a low life, a poor and inferior being. A fight, thinking of leaving home, a tradegy... Never Let Go. Based on a true life story.

Prologue __________________________________________________ They say secondary school love is nothing serious. Just small crushes, small butterflies and something to laugh about later I used to believe that too Until everything change It started like a normal day Noise. Laughter. Arguement over nothing. The usual chaos of school life And then him. He wasn't supposed to matter Not to me. Not in any way He was just there Annoying, always talking, always finding a way to get on my nerves If anything I was supposed to hate him but somehow, somewhere between the arguments the long conversation and the moments that didn't make sense He became the one person I couldn't ignore And the worst part? I didn't even realize when it started Not when he became to notice things about me no one else did Not when his voice became familiar Not when his presence started to feel comforting I realised it's too late The day I saw him with her The day my chest tightened for no reason I could explain The day I understand something had changed And I couldn't take it back Because the truth is In a place where feelings were supposed to be nothing I fell And I fell HARD.
