Hi, I'm Eve but all my friends call me....... Eve. Everyone calls me Eve, I don't know why, I lied. I don't have any friends just some acquaintances and maybe my therapist so that was another lie. I know you're probably thinking, she's hilarious, her sarcasm is crazy but I'm just being honest. Plus, I'm a blabber so you're just gonna accept that or not. It really depends on you. Anyway, I know you've read stories of lovers to friends, enemies to lovers, boss falling in love with a worker and yada yada but I'm here to tell you something different............. I'm here to tell you the story of the boy who saved my life.......... I hope you enjoy reading my story or not. I'll stop talking now before I start telling you of my cat, Garfield. He's ginger just like the cat in my favorite movie, get it? I think I'll just leave now and let Praise tell you my story, byebye. Wait, wait, before I go, my name's not really Eve and I picked one of my personalities to tell this intro..............

BENEATH THE SURFACE A story by Akinbami Titilayo --- Prologue The air around Regal Heights Academy was thick-dense with unspoken truths, heavy with the weight of too many eyes that saw but never really looked. Laughter and chatter wove through the morning air, bright and careless, yet to Tariola, it was nothing more than background noise. She stood at the gates, fingers grazing the cold iron bars, grounding herself against the pull of something she couldn't name. Tariola. The name echoed in her mind, familiar yet distant, like an old melody she could no longer hum. Once, it had belonged to someone who fit-a girl who laughed without hesitation, who believed in the simplicity of belonging. But that girl had drowned long ago, swallowed whole by grief and emotions sharp enough to scar. Inside the academy walls, life moved on-unaware, uninterested. She wasn't invisible. No, invisibility would have been a mercy. Instead, she was trapped in the in-between, caught beneath the surface where no one dared to look. But maybe-just maybe-someone would. Maybe someone would see past the quiet facade, past the carefully constructed silence. Maybe someone would dive deep enough to reach what lay hidden beneath the surface. And maybe, just maybe, they wouldn't turn away.

OKONTA a furious village hunter, fearful, wicked and very hostile, hijack the life of his rival. Being one of the protagonists of the play brought out the unclean lifestyle of some individuals in the society. The injustices of men tells us how evil has embedded in the heart of men, wickedness has become the order of the day. Taking an in-depth look into this play, it remanded us on some of the inevitable behaviors of man to his fellow man, just because he has an upper hand in the affairs of the society. The first ACT/SCENE took us on how the rift between the two protagonists started i.e mazi Okonta and mazi Nnana, going forward it was seen that the igwe try to settle the disputes partially but this act of settlement was just a caricature. Going deeply into the play we saw how Nnana was murdered in cold blood and mazi Okonta the murderer was spy by Ibe, yet the truth was trampled upon. This among other things happens in the world today. Now and then, we see how those at the top will hijack what has being made for the masses, yet the government that are suppose to fight for the poor masses will keep quiet. Towards the end part of this play we say how the gods revolted against the whole community just like how God destroy Sodom and Gomorrah, and all those that were involved in one way or the other meet their end at the end of the road. This is what happens when you destroy the life of others and think you can go scot free.
