In a harrowing night, Samir finds himself facing a malevolent spirit determined to claim his life. As the spirit's terrifying presence threatens to overwhelm him, Samir recalls his mother's teachings about divine intervention in moments of darkness. Desperately, he uses a sacred talisman she gave him, invoking a beam of light that repels the malevolent entity. Just when hope seems lost, a mysterious stranger appears, guiding Samir to safety. The stranger's intervention and the divine light not only save Samir but also reveal the power of faith and the unseen guardians that watch over us in our darkest hours.

Short horror story slightly inspired by a dream I had, far from my best work but not the worst either. It centers around David Smiths experience driving through the Rocky Mountains on his way home to visit his parents after his pa is recovering from a heart attack. Along the way he stops at a motel for the night but after the less than agreeable accommodations He spends the night along a lonely, horrifying road.

Via Alcantara and Gage Pelaez suddenly became close due to having mutual friends. Being in the same friend group made it easy for them to know each other even more. Via, as a graduating student, has a very packed schedule, but going on escapes such as night drives and ferris wheel rides calms her clouded mind. Gage is always there whenever she wants to unwind. But whenever they're together, it's like they can hear each other's feelings echoing.
