Using a spell, Azal put his brother Light into a deep sleep so the next day remained Dark and no Light would show. This was so unusual, that the earth cursed both of the brothers. Scorn and hatred the two had for one another. Dark and Light then had to alternate on the same day forever. Earth, out of her own soil wrote the Legend book for breaking the curse. Only a witch from centuries down the line could break this curse. She either fell in love with Darkness or killed Light. She must choose, and it can't wait. The earth will eventually crumble, and die if the curse remains.
