When her parents finally abandon her, she meets Bandit, her night fury. The two bond over the years, making a sanctuary for dragons to live safely. Alana learns all about dragons. Their language, their habits, and she is no longer human. She is the Dragon Mistress. So when her patrols come back with disturbing news about dragon hunters, she acts quickly and ambushes their ships and sinks all of them. Hiccup is confused. Who could have sunk all of these ships before they got here? It happens again. And again . And again! Until one day when he sees a black blur streak away from the ships. The war is over, and dragons and humans are now at peace. Living with dragons as their unexpected neighbours, helping each other in daily life. Here, Hiccup has managed to restore peace after centuries of war. Well, far beyond Berk's horizon, not everyone in the archipelago has adapted to living alongside dragons, at least not as quickly as Berk. And Timberhaven is one of those villages. Tensions are still high despite the declaration of neutrality toward dragons. Now, what does the world look like through the eyes of Timberhaven's villagers? Will the village eventually accept dragons and learn to live alongside them?
