Two nightfuries, two people who didn't know about the other. Alana's parents threw her away when she was five years old, saying that she was a good-for-nothing, spoiled little freak, that didn't deserve to live. They called her freak, because she had asked why they killed dragons. They called her spoiled, because she was, until she started learning sword fighting. When her parents finally abandon her, she meets Bandit, her night fury. The two bond over the years, making a sanctuary for dragons to live safely. Alana learns all about dragons. Their language, their habits, and she is no longer human. She is the Dragon Mistress. So when her patrols come back with disturbing news about dragon hunters, she acts quickly and ambushes their ships and sinks all of them. Hiccup is confused. Who could have sunk all of these ships before they got here? It happens again. And again . And again! Until one day when he sees a black blur streak away from the ships. In my personal opinion, the story could have been better so I am writing this as how I would somewhat want the story to go.*

Hiccup and Toothless were patrolling the village of Berk after Dagar and his men attacked the night before. The two entered a cave and heard a small cry around a corner deeper into the cave.
