Here's a short story that I hope you enjoy. BANG! BANG! Two shots rang out into the cold still air. The narrow city street was dark, only the street lamp on the corner shined. The road was damp from the rain that had just fallen. The buildings were slim and tightly packed together. Only a few were dimly lit above.

A long time ago in a land far away.. The Nighthawk family has long been overthrown. Only one remains, the Princess Sierra, adopted daughter of the Dragon King and heir to Dragon Island. But a shadow has been rising in the land that threw her out, and Sierra must rise to the challenge to defeat the oldest enemy of all the races. Together with a company made of many races called the Resistance, Sierra travels to find a way to destroy the Dark and save both her kingdoms and all the races. Armed with the Power of the Seventh Word and the title Uniter, she is the only one who can save everything she loves. To do this, she will have to choose, and her choice will break someone's heart. When the time comes, will she stand alone? Or will someone rise to save her?

Isabella just want to have a normal life : get married with Philipe and have kids on their of their own. But when the letter the the Diamond Ball organised by the Royal family arrives, she is forced by Philipe, her mom into going for the Ball. When the night of the ball arrives, what surprise might await her? The ball is definitely no ordinary ball, what secrets might the ball hold to her future?

This poem describes the war and the silence of urban Street and this poem is dedicated to the painting of nighthawk by Edward Hopper.

The year is 20XX. The American government has fallen apart as the economy had shriveled. Conspiracy theories and the growing dissatisfaction continue to fester into intense outbreaks of movement, reformation, and organized terror. Many different groups pry their scaly hands for the seat of power. However, one succeeds and democracy takes a new shade. People do their best to adjust to the new restrictions and expanses of life. Unfortunately, we follow one that has fallen victim. An indifferent citizen stands by and watches as her old life is taken away. Yet she gains another chance at living at the cost of her indifference.

This is a story based off the painting Nighthawks by Edward Hopper. I wrote it for my college English class.

The plot thickens as skirmishes between colonists begin based on jealousy and greed. Can John Carter lead them peacefully or will civil war destroy what they built in the first two years?

Juniper Rickerson lives in an era of supers. Everything is normal, until she finds she has powers when she was 10 . She hid them from everyone until she turned 17, and finally showed the world who she truly was!
