Kate Hollows was a normal toddler, until she had an terrifying incident resulting in her being diagnosed with a mental sickness later discovering she was suffering with narcolepsy and Nightmare disorder, as a result her parents sent her to live in a mental health institute for ten years. now shes out in the world, but not better, how does she cope when the entire world thinks she's insane, and her parents trying to send her back...... On top of all this she is trying to figure out her sexuality and how to live in the normal world and who she is as a person. (Disclaimer, i have researched about narcolepsy and nightmare disorder to try and get closer to what was going on with the character, but i haven't ever experienced it or met anyone with it, so my writing about it won't be accurate, it's all fictional) xx

When 5 year old twins, Whisper and Willow, get in a car crash with their parents they are lucky enough to survive but their parents die almost instantly. Willow was lucky enough to have been asleep during the tragic event, but Whisper will have the face of the hit and run driver in her mind for the rest of her life. Now being cared for by their grandmother at age 15 they try to get by with this event constantly in their minds.
